Headwaters Park is excited to open several new areas for the public to enjoy! An expanded trail system extends into the eastern section of the Park, a wetland habitat. The trail is ADA accessible and offers a beautiful observation deck into the center of the wetland with a 360 degree view. The Park has also expanded its diverse rain garden with numerous native plants. The Community Garden Area has undergone a complete transformation including rebuilt garden beds that will be replanted in spring 2021. A Nature Play Area, complete with a Stump Jump, Boulder Crawl, grassy mountain with a tunnel, and picnic area has been added for families to enjoy.
Visitors are welcome at Headwaters Park year-round; the trails are open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Patrons will experience a peaceful yet exciting place to hike, observe, dog-walk, and explore. With the addition of our new trails and outdoor play areas, new visitors are encouraged to come share in the beauty of all the seasons!
